Studying Languages in Ghana
Study local & major languages while living in Ghana and exploring new communities. Eduteen Ghana Language Courses let you study your chosen language from highly trained native speakers. It is our belief that everyone can get more out of their experiences when they study new skills and the ability to strike up conversations with the people they live and work with.
Studying a local language, or a major language spoken around the world, will help you better understand the cultures and perspectives in Ghana and your chosen destination.
While you study a language in Ghana with us, you can choose from one-to-one or group lessons, with varying hours over one, two, three, or four weeks. Lessons will cover speaking, listening, reading, and writing. These can be standalone classes or added on to many of our existing projects.
Is studying languages in Ghana right for me?
Our Language Courses in Ghana will suit you if you want to invest in yourself while you travel. It will let you integrate with a local community and give you a new skill that you’ll be able to nurture for life.
You don’t need any previous language qualifications or experience; just the willingness to learn and try new things. Group Language Courses are also a good way of meeting others who are living in your community and getting to know the country, so you can make friends and build a support network.

On these projects, you’ll learn from qualified teachers who are native speakers and be supported by Eduteen Ghana staff during your course. You’ll also become part of a global network of volunteers, interns, staff, and students, giving you the chance to meet people from around the world who share your interests and values. You can choose the length and style of language course that suits you. If you’re already planning on volunteering or interning in Ghana, you can add one of the language courses to your project and do both.
