Volunteering with Children Abroad

Is child care volunteer work right for me?

Our Childcare Projects are ideal for volunteers who care deeply about helping children in less developed communities. You don’t need previous work experience with children. All you need is the drive to help every child access the care which many of us take for granted. All of your tasks will be guided by local staff.

  • Create activities that will benefit the children you’re working with for the long-term
  • Evaluate motor and social skills alongside local staff
  • Plan and run fun activities like arts and crafts or sports games

What are the benefits of doing child care volunteer work?

Volunteer Building Work Abroad

Volunteer building work abroad is a great way to gain hands-on construction experience while giving back to those who need help. You’ll make a direct impact on people’s lives by building houses, schools, community centers, or hospitals.

Many of our building volunteer opportunities are located in underprivileged areas where basic infrastructure is lacking. You’ll join other like-minded volunteers, local community members, and professional builders to construct the buildings that are so badly needed.

Volunteering on a building project abroad means you’ll help with various construction tasks. These might include laying bricks, mixing cement, plastering walls, or painting. No matter what your experience level is, you can contribute. We provide on-site training and supervision for all volunteers, so don’t worry if you’ve never done building work before!
